David and I are huge flower lovers, his favorite being the orchid. So for Valentine’s Day last year I gave him tickets for us to attend the 2019 Chicago Botanic Garden Orchid Show, entitled “In the Tropics”. While it is still cold in February/March in Illinois, it was really warm in the Orchid Greenhouses and Galleries. The Orchid Show “captured the spirit of the islands, beaches, and rain-forests in places like the South Pacific and the Amazon”. It was really beautiful and we enjoyed it immensely. This post will feature some of our favorite pictures taken at the show. Consider this a visual blog post as opposed to a written post. Enjoy!
